Joy
Joy is a series of drinking glasses designed for a wide range of beverages. The series includes stemmed and stemless forms, from a shot glass of 74 mm in height to a champagne glass of 222 mm in height. Joy is made of soda glass with the automatic press method, and the single-piece press mold keeps production efficient. The form is inspired by the dried paradise palm fruit and combines natural and geometric lines. Linear engravings create a texture that is comfortable to hold. The open mouth shape also suits hot beverages.
Joy Barware Series by Sisecam was highlighted as a grand example of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Joy Barware Series received the Platinum A' Design Award in Bakeware, Tableware, Drinkware and Cookware Design in 2024. The A' Bakeware, Tableware, Drinkware and Cookware Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design prize which rewards exceptional design of pots, pans, cutlery, plates, bowls, glasses, baking dishes, graters and more.
